Deer Sheds

The weather has been pretty nice around here lately so we have been taking advantage of it all we can. So we have been looking for deer sheds. Deer and elk loose there horns in the spring and then regrow them in the fall. So Keith has been watching the herd of deer that reside on the ranch and all the bucks have now lost there horns. So the other afternoon we took a little 4-wheeler ride looking for horns. We got on top of this ridge and we spotted this deer shed. So we got off and walked over to it and Shayd hit the jackpot. He was so proud of himself. I looked over across the way and seen what appearred to be a squirrel. I told Keith I would run over there BUT no he thought he should be the one. He went over and picked up this elk shed. It was huge. It is early for elk to drop there horns so I guess I got lucky.

After we got home the boys played in the drive way. Zayn is so cute. He has a hard time walking outside still but he is slowly getting it. We threw the ball on the roof and let it slide down pretty amazing.
