May happenings!!!

(we didn't notice the sign until we were looking at the pictures!!) I know I have not posted for ever but life has been crazy, not that it wasn't before. Here are happenings for the last couple of weeks. The Saturday before Mother's Day we went to the zoo. Very fun! Shayd loved all the animals. He would hold out his hand to feed them. The monkeys were his favorite swinging around, very entertaining. We planted some plants and found a worm that scared Shayd at first he screamed like a little girl everytime I would get it close to him. He eventually thought it was very cool and wouldn't put it down. He played with it for a while and then decided to feed it to our oscar fish!! Typical boy. The Clark girls came up for State Track and our Quincie took 4th in the 2 mile at an amazing time of 12 min 12 seconds. She rocks!!!! Zayn turned 6 weeks old and is such a sweet heart. He is a wonderful little spirit in our home. He has started to smile and is cooing(not that I can capture a smile on camera). He is getting very big. We received an offer on our house and accepted. We will be moving to Weiser. Keith has been working over there for almost a year driving back and forth. We are excited to lower our gas bill!!!

Nanny and Papa

My grandparents are the sweetest grandparents. They are a little senile yes but they love there grand and great grandkids. My brothers girls have been staying with them for the last 2 weeks while my sister-in-law finished school. Shayd went over a couple of times and played during the day and would come home soo tired and dirty!!! My nanny would call and tell me how much fun they were having, and when he got home I could tell. Thursday we all went over to play. I think I was there 5 minutes and Shayd had found a mud puddle and was sitting in it!!
Chandler my 5 year old niece had found baby kittens in the attic the day they were born and has not left them alone since. Papa said telling them there mommy kitten wanted her babies only worked a handful of times. The kittens are now about 10 days old eyes are finally open and are survivors. Shayd and Joely are not very soft with them, but they love them.
I have deciede that I do better when I just send Shayd over and don't see the things he does. Like trying to climb a ladder to the attic to get a kitty. For lunch they had cookies, ice cream and some mac and cheese, but who wants mac and cheese when you get cookies and ice cream. I spent 99% of my childhood there and I turned out okay. My nieces went home yesterday and I hope that my grandparents slept in today, they looked like they needed the rest!!!

Zayn's Blessing

We blessed Zayn this last Sunday. He was a very good baby and slept through the whole thing. The Crossley's that live close came and my grandparents and the Clark girls. Shayd loved all the kids to play with and Zayn enjoyed being passed around!!! Zayn is such a great little boy we love him very much and are blessed to have him in our family.

One Month Down!!!

Zayn is one month old and doing great!!! Shayd hasn't roughed him up to bad yet. He is sleeping well only getting up twice, growing like a weed, and is the cutest little thing ever. He loves bath time and is fascinated with Shooter. Shayd has had a few jealous moments that usually come at the same time Zayn is having a moment. Mom is getting use to the chaos that two kids bring. We are surviving nicely!! We are very blessed that Zayn chose to be part of our family.
(not the best picture but I love his chubbiness)
