I'm Back..A little recap!

WOW!!! It has been a long time since I have posted so here is a little recap of the last 6 months:

We had a wonderful Halloween. The boys and I spent it in Soda where we watched my amazing cousin Quincie run at State Cross Country!! She took second on her team and puked at the end, which means she ran her guts out! I love her. My mom made adorable costumes for the boys. Shayd was a lion(he would not get in his costume for ever which was very annoying because it was so cute. But Syd eventually talked him into it!!) Zayn was the cutest little monkey I have ever seen. And he loved his costume and figured out the whole getting candy thing at the door. We were very lucky to have my cousin Heidi and her little girl Reagan go trick or treating with us!!(Pictures to come!!)

Two days after we got back I shot my first bull elk!! It was a very nice 6 pt, not bad for my first bull. Keith's hunting story will soon be posted.

We hosted Thanksgiving at our house!! Yes we are a little crazy but it was a lot of fun. Thanksgiving morning Sue and her girls and Natalie( the best running partner ever) and myself ran the turkey trot fun 5k run!! It was freezing but it was a blast and I hope to do it again this year!!!

We spent Christmas in Lewiston with my brother. Poor guy broke his ankle on the 21st of December and had surgery on the 23rd. He was a trooper for as much pain as he was in. The kids loving being with their cousins and grandma for Christmas. Chandler was soo cute and gave Keith a mug she painted and an ornament with a picture of her on it. Grandma and her mom were a little sad that they didn't get but we LOVE it!!!

Shayd is a Sunbeam. I cannot believe that my little guy is a Sunbeam. He loves it. Every Sunday he takes his Book of Mormon and walks into church and says I am ready to go to class. He would rather go to class then sit through sacrament. He loves to say the prayer and read the scriptures every night. He also loves to do crafts! I bought the boys these wooden owl masks at Joannes for a buck and some paint. Shayd loves it we have done several other little projects. I will post pictures soon. Shayd got the top bunk and he thinks he is pretty hot stuff. And he is potty trained at night. Cross your fingers I didn't just jinks myself. Shooter and him are best friends and he always wants to hold her kiss her and have her sleep with him. Which she has a lot until the whole bunk bed thing.

We all survived trapping season, barely. I am sure Keith is coming up with a clever little story. The boys really enjoyed going to check the traps with there dad. I am going to attempt gopher trapping on my own this year we will see how long that last.

Zayn is a wonder child!! Yes he was potty trained in January!! At 20 months. We started in December but I wasn't completely consistent with him and so I finally bit the bullet at the beginning of January. He is quite the big boy!! He moved into toddler bed and he is now on the bottom bunk of the bunk beds. He likes to sneak into mom and dads bed in the middle of the night but I have put a stop to that now, I think. We are all sleeping much better in our own beds!! He is the hardest kid to keep clothes on. He prefers to just run around NAKED. I hope eventually it will embarrass him into clothes!!

There Cool Beds!!!

We have enjoyed the baby calves and sheep this spring. And we got to baby sit a little baby goat. Zayn thought that was the neatest thing ever. And he would ask all the time to go feed the goat. It was so little and tiny and would follow the boys around. Zayn loved feeding it and trying to pick it up.

We are happy to say that we are expecting our 3rd boy July 28th. Shayd says "Moms giving me a kid for my birthday" It's not a baby its a kid!!! We are excited for another boy and all the fun that comes with it. I guess a lot can happen in six months!!!
