Zayn turned one at the beginning of April. I know I am right on the ball=) Anyway we had a very small party just us!! I was still not feeling well and didn't feel up to company. But next year I will make it up to him!! My mom and I made him this cute little frog cake and he loved it. He ate most of an eye and what ever was left he threw on the floor for Shooter!! It is so cliche to say I can't believe he is one but I really can't. I was rocking him last night thinking a year ago you were so tiny, just curled up in my arms and now the only time he wants held is in the middle of the night when all I want is to sleep. He is a little tornado into EVERYTHING!! He is everywhere and can disappear in a moment. He loves to play with my cookie sheets and strainers!! I think I pick them up about 100 times a day. He loves chasing Shooter around the house and feeding her his food. He is always happy and on the go!!!
Frog cake for a frog boy
At his year check up he weighed in at 22.3 lbs and 30 3/4 in. He only has 6 lbs to go before he catches Shayd. He wants to do everything Shayd is doing; if Shayd is on the couch he wants to if Shayd is outside he thinks he needs to. Hopefully they continue to get along over the years. He can say mom, and dad, uh o. He can sign please and tell me what a cow says. He is Shayd's shadow. He has several nic names; PeeWee, Shadow, and Lil' Robert. I am his favorite person again(it took a couple of weeks to win back his love after my surgery). He eats anything and everything and the only way I know if he is not feeling good is if he stops eating. He has 2 teeth on the bottom 4 on top and is getting all 4 molars right now. Not the way I would think he should get teeth but thats the way he wants to do it. He would live outside if I would let him. He loves the 4-wheeler and horses. If you can't tell I think the world of this little guy. He is such a blessing and I never want him to grow up.
