This year Keith and Ty went hunting up in McCall. They decided to go hunting there at the end of August and they left the 15th October.(I know I am late what can I say.) So for almost 2 months all I heard was "I am so excited to go hunting, I bet I get a huge elk, This is going to be awesome, I wish we were leaving tomorrow." Ty came out to the house like every other day just to talk about there BIG hunt. Finally October 15th came and they were off. Keith went to Ty's at like 4 in the morning and Ty had been out trying to catch the horses for about an hour they had gotten out. BUt that was the only rodeo they had with the horses.
It took them about 5 hours to ride into camp. It was very windy and it rained for two days. They found out the first night that there tent had a couple of holes in it but they put a tarp over it and made do. Keith got to see 7 bulls none big enough to shoot, he is a trophy hunter these days. The timber was so thick that they said they could here a bull bugle not 50 yards away but they couldn't see him. Keith called me Friday around noon and said I haven't shot anything but this has been my best elk hunt ever. I am soo glad they had a good time and better luck next year!!!
Keith on a horse just makes me laugh

I believe there is a special place in heaven for the wifes of hunters. And especially for Mothers of boys! Love you!
